Lot of 3 Edged Weapons, 2 Short Swords and a Socket Bayonet
1) Theatrical Fraternal Sword for Knights of Pythias, made from saber bayonet blade. 22.5" semi-Yataghan blade, 27.75" in overall length. Cast brass hilt with fraternal motifs. No scabbard.
2) European Short Artillery Sword of the French Model 1816 or 1831 Pattern. Unmarked. 19" wasp waisted Gladius style blade, 24.75" in overall length. 5.75" cast brass hilt. No scabbard is present.
3) US Model 1873 Trapdoor Rifle Socket Bayonet. 18" blade marked US at ricasso, 3" socket, 21" in overall length. Missing the locking ring stop pin from the socket and the tension screw from the locking ring.

1) Fair to good. Blade moderately oxidized.2) Fair. Blade heavily oxidized and with a dark brown patina. Metal with areas of roughness and pitting.3) Fair. Metal with moderate oxidation and a plum patina. Socket missing the locking ring stop pin, locking ring missing the tension screw.
